Property details

Modern 4-bedroom detached house built as part of a small development in 2016. All properties were built fully electric with a 9kW air source heat pump (ASHP) and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) system and enhanced insulation.

What changes have been made?

More recently, we added a 20 solar photovoltaic (PV) panel array to the roof which is supported by a 10kWh battery.

What have been the approximate energy savings?

Net energy costs in the 12 months prior to installing solar PV panels and a battery was £2,500. I expect these additions will significantly reduce my energy costs.
