Beautiful character property, originally built in 1912 as a Sunday school. Solid wall, slate roof, suspended floor and vaulted ceilings.

What changes have been made?

We have installed a 9kW solar photovoltaic (PV) panel array with battery storage, heritage style uPVC doors and windows, sustainable insulation, smart room-based heating controls, low energy smart lighting and an electric car charging point.

What have been the approximate energy savings?

Heating energy usage has dropped roughly 40%. During the summer months we are a net producer of electricity.
