We have the largest domestic solar array in all of Shropshire!

Our property is fully electric - we have LED lighting, an extremely efficient induction cooker and an Eddi system which is very high tech!

The fact that we can charge 2 electric cars, charge a battery and run an air source heat pump all at the same time makes our place rather unique.

Bungalow built in 2003. Brick with rock wool cavity wall insulation.

What changes have been made?

We have replaced the boiler with an air source heat pump which feeds underfloor heating. Everest uPVC Triple glazing. Loft insulation topped up to 310mm. Fitted 48 solar panels = 14.22 kWp. Tesla Powerwall battery storage. 2 electric cars and 2 Zappi car charging points. Eddi hot water immersion system synchronised with solar, Powerwall battery and car chargers.
