Property details

Beautiful Stuart Era detached, tiled roof and timber frame constructed property built in 1691. Stone wall rear extension added in 1830.

What changes have been made?

Our retrofit journey with home improvements is ongoing. So far, we have improved the loft insulation, added interior wall insulation and floor insulation where feasible. We have installed a 16kW air source heat pump (ASHP) with underfloor heating downstairs and larger radiators. LED lighting has been fitted as well as some secondary glazing. Lastly, an electric vehicle (EV) charging point and 6.72kW solar photovoltaic (PV) panel array have been installed alongside 10kW battery storage.

What have been the approximate energy savings?

We roughly save £500 per month on our energy.

What have been the benefits to you and your home?

Our home is now far more energy efficient and comfortable to live in whilst also being aesthetically pleasing.
