On 8th October homeowners across Shropshire who have done retrofit works to their homes will be opening their doors to showcase energy efficiency measures, tell you about their experiences, and answer your questions. Lots of great advice will be available, from what it's like to live with an air source heat pump, to the basics of draughtproofing your home.
The latest green technology will be on display, including air source heat pumps, solar panels with battery storage, and smart controls. Traditional building methods can be seen in eco cabins and green extensions. Several new Passiv houses, high on elegance, will also be on view.
