Property details:

Solid stone wall and slate roof barn built in the 1800s, converted into a lovely home in 2002.

What changes have been made?

I replaced the oil boiler with an 8.5kW air source heat pump (ASHP) that sits against a wall at the side of the house. A 4kW solar photovoltaic (PV) panel array has also been installed. Lastly, a log burner has been fitted the lounge.

What have been the benefits to you and your home?

The heat pump is great! Quiet, efficient and provides clean energy.
